The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H, which covers Northwest Missouri, announced driving saturation and checkpoint events for this month.
The patrol said it has scheduled a DWI saturation and hazardous moving operation in Buchanan County and a sobriety checkpoint in Mercer County. None of the events have a specific date.
The hazardous moving operation will focus on taking enforcement action on all violations that could cause accidents or place other drivers in danger. The sobriety checkpoint will focus on areas in Mercer County with a high frequency of alcohol-related arrests and crashes.
The patrol urges drivers who see any of these problems to call their emergency hot line at (800) 525-5555 or cellular *55.
