State Michigan Police bust mobile meth lab

ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan State Police say they stopped a vehicle believed to be a mobile methamphetamine laboratory on Alpine Road Monday.
A State Trooper observed the vehicle speeding on US-131 near West River Drive and attempted to stop it. The driver of the car fled, traveling at speeds reaching 80 mph, ending up on Alpine Road. The car stopped after the driver crashed into a curb in a Subway parking lot. The driver fled on foot and was apprehended shortly thereafter.
The State Police Methamphetamine Investigation team processed the vehicle.
The driver, a 46-year-old Walker man, was sent to the Kent County Jail on numerous charges including; fleeing and eluding and driving on a suspended license. Police say additional drug charges are forthcoming.
