I'm currently on a specialized team so it varies from shift to shift. At times it's just me, other times we have 6 team members out at once. Regardless, we always have road troopers out there to back us up in a pinch.

I work with two other guys and we cover a whole county. Sometimes it is just two of us, sometimes just one. Bigger counties have more help. I work a two county District and one night it was me in one county, and one guy in another...so we had to hustle!!! LOL

Most of the time there's only one trooper in each county we work.

I work a metro, so for the two counties I work, there are usually 6 to 8 of us. One day a week, there are two day shift crews out, so there may be 12 to 14 for those two counties, plus motor carrier inspectors, motorist assist technicians and MCSAP troopers (not included in original numbers I listed). Day shift usually has 3 LTs and a CAPT also, but they're pretty much office bound.

It's a busy area and sometimes THAT's not enough!

Seems like you have decent coverage NBW971 but more is always better.
